Senior Litigation Attorney (Remote)

An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of practice to join their dynamic team. This position is 100% remote for candidates based in Washington State, offering high-autonomy litigation management, complex caseloads, and a strong work-life integration.

Position Overview

  • Practice Areas: Civil Litigation, Construction Defect, Business Litigation

  • Location: 100% Remote (Must reside and be licensed in Washington State)

  • Experience Required: 5+ years of litigation experience

  • Annual Billable Requirement: 1,800 hours

  • Caseload: Manageable and tailored based on individual experience

  • Compensation: $110,000 – $180,000 per year (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a varied litigation portfolio from case inception through resolution or trial.

  • Draft complex pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.

  • Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnesses.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.

  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers with professionalism and strategic foresight.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in Washington State in good standing.

  • 5+ years of litigation experience with a strong background in civil litigation, construction defect, or business dispute resolution.

  • Proven track record meeting or exceeding reasonable billable hour goals (1,800 hours annually).

  • Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.

  • Self-motivated and comfortable working effectively in a fully remote environment.
