Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Roseville or Irvine, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $130,000 – $190,000 per year (depending on experience) + Bonus
About the Opportunity
A premier, growing civil litigation and business law firm with a strong regional footprint across multiple states is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in either Roseville or Irvine, California. Key Responsibilities
Managing cases independently while collaborating closely with partners and team members.
Handling complex civil litigation matters, with a focus on construction defect, real estate disputes, business litigation, and builder/developer representation.
Drafting substantive law and motion pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests/responses.
Taking and defending depositions of key witnesses, experts, and parties.
Representing clients in court hearings, appearances, and mediations.
Fostering direct client relationships and developing independent legal judgment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California is required.
Proven experience managing discovery, taking/defending depositions, and motion practice.
Construction defect, real estate, and/or business litigation experience is strongly preferred.
Superior legal writing, analytical thinking, and research capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits Package
$130,000 to $190,000 base salary, commensurate with experience.
Bonus available for billable hours achieved above the standard target (Target: 1,800 billable hours per year / ~150 hours per month).
Additional discretionary bonus opportunities based on firm and individual performance.
