A growing, family-owned pet food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead its maintenance function at a manufacturing facility in Monmouth, IL.
This is an opportunity for a hands-on maintenance leader who wants more than a desk job. You’ll lead a skilled maintenance team, drive reliability initiatives, strengthen preventive maintenance, reduce downtime, and work directly with Operations and Plant Leadership to keep the facility running at peak performance.
$110K–$115K base salary + benefits

Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues alongside technicians
Reduce unplanned downtime and improve equipment reliability
Establish maintenance priorities, standards, and performance expectations
Partner with Operations to address equipment and production challenges
Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant improvements
Monitor maintenance performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, reliability, and teamwork
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Maintenance Manager or experienced maintenance leader with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to balance technical expertise with leadership.
You should be comfortable getting onto the plant floor, working through problems with technicians, and making decisions that improve equipment performance—while also building long-term maintenance strategies.
This isn't simply a position where you'll keep the lights on.
