Electrical Project Manager | Data Center Construction

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the successful execution of complex Data Center construction projects. This opportunity is with a well-established electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical facilities and delivering high-profile projects throughout the United States.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, proven project leadership abilities, and experience managing the unique demands of Data Center projects.

Please Note: Data Center and Electrical Construction experience are required for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of electrical Data Center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and financial forecasts.
  • Coordinate project activities with owners, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Review and manage contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Oversee procurement of electrical equipment and long-lead materials.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues impacting cost, quality, or schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with safety programs, quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage project financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and billing.
  • Mentor and support project engineers and field teams.

Qualifications

  • Electrical construction experience is required.
  • Data Center construction experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing large-scale electrical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
