Tax Manager

They are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee a team of highly motivated professionals. The successful candidate will have high ethical standards and make an impact from day one.

Performance Expectations for the Tax Manager:

  • Oversee and manage a team of highly motivated staff accountants and tax accountants
  • Provide tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base
  • Oversee complex tax projects across a variety of clients and industries
  • Build and maintain professional relationships to help grow the firm's network and client base
  • Provide timely and thorough evaluations and mentoring for staff accountants
  • Serve as a hands-on leader and trusted advisor

Experience/Qualifications for the Tax Manager:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Master's Degree in Taxation (highly desirable)
  • Active CPA license
  • 5+ years of proven public accounting experience in a tax supervisory role
  • Strong ability to utilize technology to enhance client service
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
