Professional Engineer – Land Development

A growing civil engineering firm is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong land development background. This is an opportunity to take ownership of meaningful site/civil projects, work directly with clients and municipalities, and grow within a stable team with a strong project backlog.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support land development and site/civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
Prepare and review grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, roadway, and site-layout designs.
Produce construction documents, permitting packages, cost estimates, and technical reports.
Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, architects, surveyors, and internal design teams.
Support project schedules, budgets, proposal efforts, and client relationships.
Mentor junior engineers and designers as responsibilities grow.
What We’re Looking For
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain reciprocity.
3+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus in land development, site development, or stormwater design.
Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, municipal, mixed-use, or site-development projects.
Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and applicable design software.
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, municipalities, and internal project teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
