Associate Attorney

I am working with the leadership of a well-established Michigan law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join its Southfield office. This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate Attorney with any litigation background who is interested in building or expanding a practice focused on professional liability insurance defense.

The salary for this role will be market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

This is a primarily on-site position in Southfield, Michigan, with occasional remote-work flexibility.

What We Need

• 3–5 years of litigation experience.
• Interest in transitioning into or further developing a professional liability insurance defense practice.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced litigation team.
• Detail-oriented, motivated Associate Attorney with a strong commitment to client service and professional growth.
