Shift:Day shift starting at 6am with flexible end time based on production | Weekends as Needed
A growing manufacturer is seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership while troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys being on the floor, solving equipment problems, and training operators on basic repairs and first-line troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
Maintain packaging and slicing equipment, pumps, conveyors, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and sanitary process systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Train operators on basic repairs, troubleshooting, and safe equipment practices.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and coaching on the production floor.
Support food safety, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
Work independently to diagnose and resolve equipment failures.
Maintain safe work practices and maintenance standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred but not required.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Demonstrated ability to train and coach operators.
Experience with packaging equipment, slicing equipment, pumps, conveyors, boilers, and refrigeration.
Familiarity with sanitary process systems.
Ammonia refrigeration, boiler, and wastewater experience is a plus.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and hands-on leadership skills.
Ability to work 6am to a flexible end time (3-6pm) depending on production, with occasional weekends as needed.
