GPAC is working with a well-established agribusiness in Pennsylvania that is seeking a Custom Applicator / Sprayer Operator. This position is responsible for accurate crop-input application, dependable equipment operation, and timely field service.

The ideal candidate takes pride in application quality, maintains equipment carefully, and brings a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate agricultural application equipment to apply fertilizer and crop-protection products

• Calculate application rates and complete mixing, loading, and calibration activities

• Follow product labels, field instructions, and applicable operating requirements

• Monitor weather, field conditions, and boundaries before and during application

• Use guidance systems, rate controls, and application-record technology

• Complete daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs

• Communicate with dispatch, agronomists, and growers regarding field progress

Qualifications

• Experience operating sprayers, spreaders, or related agricultural equipment

• Working knowledge of application rates, calibration, and product handling

• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and accommodate seasonal workloads

• Current pesticide applicator credentials preferred; required licensing depends on assigned duties

• CDL and applicable endorsements preferred
