Location: Norfolk, VA / Hampton Roads & Washington, DC Area
Compensation: $120,000–$160,000+ depending on experience
We are actively seeking Senior and Lead Superintendents for multiple high-profile construction opportunities throughout the Norfolk, VA and Washington, DC markets.
Our clients have multiple projects requiring experienced field leaders, including new high-rise construction and major renovation programs spanning multiple military bases.
We are specifically interested in Superintendents with experience in:
Multifamily construction
Student housing
Military housing
High-rise residential
Large-scale renovations
Occupied renovations
Federal construction
Complex, multi-phase projects
Take full ownership of day-to-day field operations
Lead and manage subcontractors and trade partners
Develop and maintain project schedules
Coordinate sequencing and site logistics
Enforce safety and quality-control standards
Lead subcontractor and coordination meetings
Monitor project progress and resolve field issues
Coordinate inspections and required documentation
Work closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and subcontractors
Manage punch list and project closeout
Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
7+ years of construction experience preferred
Proven experience leading commercial or residential construction projects
Multifamily, student housing, military housing, high-rise, or major renovation experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Proven ability to independently manage complex project-site operations

For an exceptional Lead Superintendent, our clients may consider a travel-based position. Depending on the assignment, company-paid housing may be provided.
