A well-established residential builder is looking to add a Senior Land Development Project Manager to their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced land development professional or Civil Engineer looking to transition out of design and into project management and development.

This position is focused on the development and execution side of residential land development—not land acquisition. The Senior PM will oversee projects from planning and entitlements through infrastructure and finished lots, working closely with engineers, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage residential land development projects from planning through finished lots
  • Oversee civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and development partners
  • Coordinate entitlements, permitting, platting, and municipal approvals
  • Manage grading, utilities, roads, drainage, and other horizontal development
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Review civil plans, estimates, bids, and project scopes
  • Monitor construction progress and resolve issues to keep projects on schedule
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and project costs
  • Coordinate closely with internal construction and development teams
  • Ensure communities are delivered on time, on budget, and ready for vertical construction

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of residential land development, civil engineering, or related experience
  • Strong understanding of site development, infrastructure, and civil construction
  • Experience working with municipalities, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Civil Engineers looking to transition from design into development/project management are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred

Important: This is a development-side position focused on executing and managing land development projects, not a land acquisition role.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Full benefits package
  • Strong opportunity for long-term career growth
