Job Description

You know injection molding.

Now the question is whether you want to build the team and processes around it.

We’re looking for a Process Engineering Manager to lead the development, validation, improvement and transfer of plastic injection molding processes used in medical manufacturing.

Your mission

Build capable processes.

Develop capable engineers.

The role combines hands-on technical leadership with people leadership.

You’ll guide scientific molding practices, process development and troubleshooting while leading engineers responsible for new and existing programs.

Expect to be involved with:

  • Scientific molding
  • Injection molding process development
  • IQ/OQ/PQ
  • Process validation
  • Polymer materials
  • Mold design and improvements
  • Processing equipment
  • New product launches
  • Root-cause investigations
  • ISO 13485
  • Continuous improvement

You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling and New Product Development.

Who fits?

Someone with 7+ years of plastics processing experience and deep injection molding knowledge.

Medical-device manufacturing and process-validation experience are important.

Leadership experience matters too, but we're also interested in people who have demonstrated that they can mentor technical people and are ready for greater leadership responsibility.

This is an opportunity to remain close to the technology while having a much bigger influence on how the organization develops and executes molding processes.
