If becoming a CPA is part of your career plan, you won't be doing it completely on your own.

The firm offers:

• 80% assistance toward CPA study materials

• CPA exam fees covered

• PTO to sit for the exams

• $3,000 bonus for completing your CPA

• Continuing education support after licensure

CPA is preferred for some positions, but it isn't required for every opportunity.

Tax Opportunities

On the tax side, you'll have exposure to a variety of work that can include:

• Individual returns

• Partnerships

• S-Corporations and other business returns

• Trust and estate work depending on experience

• Tax planning

• Client communication

• Review responsibilities for more experienced professionals

• Exposure to industries including agriculture and financial institutions

As you develop, there is room to take on more complex work, strengthen client relationships, and move into higher-level responsibilities.

Audit Opportunities

On the audit side, you'll work directly with clients and gain hands-on experience throughout the engagement process.

Depending on experience, that can include:

• Audit and assurance engagements

• Financial statement work

• Workpaper preparation and review

• Client communication

• Engagement planning and fieldwork

• Increasing responsibility for engagements as you develop

• Exposure to financial institution/bank audit work

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Public accounting experience is preferred for experienced-level positions

• Tax or Audit experience — you don't need both

• CPA or CPA eligibility is a plus

• Strong communication skills

• Someone comfortable working directly with clients

• Desire to continue developing technically and professionally

• Someone looking for a firm they can grow with long term
