SUPERINTENDENT – CUSTOM RESIDENTIAL
A well-established and growing residential construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join its team. This company has a strong reputation in the region and specializes in new residential construction, including custom and semi-custom homes. The Superintendent will play a key role in overseeing projects from start through completion while maintaining quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage day-to-day construction activities across multiple residential projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
• Maintain project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plan
• Conduct quality-control inspections throughout each phase of construction
• Review plans, specifications, selections, and scope of work
• Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets applicable codes and standards
• Identify potential issues early and communicate solutions
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites
• Track materials, deliveries, and subcontractor progress
• Communicate regularly with homeowners, office staff, vendors, and trade partners• Manage punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout
• Help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• 5+ years of residential construction experience
• Strong experience managing custom or high-quality residential projects
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and construction phases
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working directly with homeowners and subcontractors
• Ability to identify problems, make decisions, and keep projects moving
• Proficiency with construction software/technology is a plus
