A respected Dallas tax boutique is seeking an associate with 2-6 years of experience for its federal tax planning practice. The work is sophisticated and partner-driven, with a defined path to partnership.
Responsibilities
- Advise businesses and individuals on federal income tax planning
- Structure transactions, entities, and reorganizations
- Research complex tax issues and draft memoranda and opinions
- Collaborate with partners and clients' financial advisors
Requirements
- 2-6 years of tax experience at a law firm
- Licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing
- LL.M. in Taxation a plus
- Strong research and writing skills
- Billable hours for this position: 1,750 hours counts toward partnership track, with bonus eligibility at 2,000
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of $205,000-$225,000+
- Bonus of $20,000-$30,000 at 2,000 hours
- Full benefits suite
- Defined partnership track
Work arrangement
Full-time in the Dallas office, with up to two days per week working from home.
