Commercial Construction Superintendent
A well-established commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will take ownership of jobsite safety, quality, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and overall field execution.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily field operations from mobilization through project completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with the Project Manager.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and site logistics.
Conduct daily jobsite meetings and maintain clear communication with project teams.
Monitor construction progress, workmanship, quality, and safety.
Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure work is properly executed.
Identify and resolve field conflicts, delays, and coordination issues.
Track RFIs, submittals, inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.
Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and according to contract requirements.
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred.
Previous Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent experience.
Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
