Plumbing Project Manager – Healthcare Construction
We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to lead complex tenant improvement projects, with a strong emphasis on healthcare and medical construction. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing high-value plumbing projects, a thorough understanding of healthcare construction requirements, and the leadership skills necessary to consistently deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee $4–6 million in active plumbing projects, from preconstruction through completion.
Develop bids, budgets, and estimates utilizing CAE methodology and established industry standards.
Monitor field operations, crew productivity, manpower, scheduling, and overall project performance.
Manage project documentation, including RFIs, SOVs, billing, change orders, and related project controls.
Conduct regular job walks and site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and coordination.
Provide clear direction and leadership to field personnel, foremen, and project teams.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, with a particular focus on healthcare and HCAI-regulated projects.
Lead mechanical scope discussions and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor, train, and support the professional development of Project Engineers.
Participate in bi-weekly Project Manager meetings and contribute to company-wide project strategies and best practices.
Drive project success by combining technical expertise, financial accountability, strong communication, and effective leadership.
Foster a positive team culture while maintaining a strong focus on productivity, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
Qualifications
Significant experience managing plumbing projects in medical and healthcare construction.
Strong understanding of HCAI requirements, compliance, and healthcare construction processes.
Advanced knowledge of CAE estimating systems, methodologies, and workflows.
Demonstrated success managing complex, high-value plumbing projects.
Strong technical knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead field and project teams effectively.
Ability to communicate mechanical scope, project requirements, and expectations clearly to both clients and internal teams.
Strong client relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture.
Strong business and financial acumen, with a track record of delivering profitable projects.
