Electrical Construction Project Manager

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This leadership role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple commercial electrical construction projects from kickoff through closeout
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and financial performance
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues affecting budget or schedule
• Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Mentor and support project engineers, coordinators, and field teams

Qualifications

• Project management experience in electrical construction
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction practices
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, scheduling, and client relationships
• Experience with change order management and project financials
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
