Job Description

A growing Phoenix construction company is looking for an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. Previous construction industry experience is not required, but hands-on experience with FOUNDATION Software is a must.

This is a key position for someone who understands the Controller function, enjoys improving processes, and can step into a growing organization and take ownership of the financial side of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations
• Manage month-end and year-end close
• Prepare and review financial statements and reporting
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting processes
• Work closely with company leadership on financial reporting and business decisions
• Utilize FOUNDATION Software for accounting and financial management

What We’re Looking For

• Prior Controller or senior-level accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience overseeing accounting processes and teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Construction experience is helpful, but not required

Compensation & Opportunity

Up to $170K base, depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
