Our client, a leading electrical construction contractor, is seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers to support large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in Phoenix, Arizona; Austin, Texas; Reno, Nevada; and Pecos, Texas.
This is an opportunity to join a growing organization delivering complex electrical infrastructure for some of the most demanding construction environments in the industry.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical construction, experience managing large-scale projects, and a proven track record of successfully delivering projects from preconstruction through final completion. Data center and mission-critical experience is highly preferred.
Manage all phases of electrical construction projects, from preconstruction and planning through execution, commissioning, and closeout.
Oversee project budgets, cost controls, schedules, forecasting, and financial performance.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Work closely with Superintendents, Project Executives, general contractors, owners, and design teams.
Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work to identify potential conflicts and cost-saving opportunities.
Manage procurement, material tracking, equipment delivery, and labor planning.
Monitor change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications.
Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule and budget commitments.
Lead project meetings and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and clients.
Oversee testing, commissioning coordination, punch lists, and final project turnover.
7+ years of electrical construction experience, with demonstrated project management responsibility.
Experience managing large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction sequencing, procurement, and project financials.
Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and multiple project stakeholders.
Experience with electrical estimating, cost forecasting, and change management.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience successfully completing projects on schedule and within established budgets.
Preferred: Data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, industrial, or other high-demand electrical infrastructure construction.
Candidates should demonstrate a consistent employment history, meaningful tenure with previous employers, and a record of completing major construction projects. Individuals with frequent unexplained job changes or limited project completion experience will not be a fit.
