Job Description

An excellent Title agency is hiring a Title Funder/Escrow Assistant.  The title funder (or title escrow funder) is responsible for managing, wiring, and disbursing the financial funds involved in a property closing.

The Title Funder/Escrow Assistant will:

  • ensure earnest money deposits, down payments, and mortgage loan proceeds are in a secure, neutral escrow account.
  • Disburse Funds: Once all legal conditions, signatures, and title clearances are met, the funder releases and wires money to the appropriate partie. 
  • Ensure that all funds are fully cleared and verified before closing the transaction to prevent wire fraud or bouncing checks.
  • have 3 years minimum experience
  • Independently manage assigned files from opening through closing and funding, using each file as an opportunity to reinforce and strengthen current relationships with the Producers and Clients involved.
    ● Review title commitments.
    ● Order and track surveys, secure payoffs, and gather any other items required to clear title.
    ● Prepare accurate settlement statements and Closing Disclosures, and process lender closing instructions and fees.
    ● Conduct closings and signings with buyers, sellers, and borrowers in a professional, confident, and personable manner.
    ● Review all legal documents for accuracy as to names, dates, legal descriptions, and vesting.
    ● Support Escrow Officer. 

  • Perform any and all clerical and administrative duties required for the proper execution of respective job duties
  • Perform general office functions, as needed
  • Software skills necessary to provide services identified above
  • High stress tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, strong problem solving & prioritization skills


The position requires related experience working in external relationship management
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and flexibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven individual, ability to work with minimal direction
