CONSTRUCTION COST ACCOUNTANT
A well-established construction organization is seeking an experienced Construction Cost Accountant to provide financial oversight for multiple active construction projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project financials from job setup through closeout
- Partner with Project Managers on job costs, forecasting and revenue recognition
- Review and process subcontractor and project invoices
- Prepare and analyze monthly job cost reports, variances and financial risks
- Manage progress billings and monitor over/under billings
- Prepare required billing documentation and manage lien waiver compliance
- Support subcontracts, change orders and contract modifications
- Monitor receivables, retention and subcontractor payments
- Maintain accurate financial reporting across multiple active projects
- Identify potential financial issues before they impact project performance
- Improve accounting processes, controls and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of construction cost accounting experience with a General Contractor or Subcontractor
- Experience managing financials for multiple construction projects simultaneously
- 2+ years working within a construction ERP such as Acumatica, Procore, Viewpoint or similar
- Strong knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, progress billing and change orders
- Experience with contract compliance and lien waivers
- Cost-Plus contract experience preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while partnering closely with project teams
