Compensation: $145,000 – $195,000 / year (DOE)
A premier law firm in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Texas-licensed Associate Attorney with 3 to 6 years of civil litigation experience. This position is tailored for a driven litigator seeking hands-on case ownership, direct client engagement, exposure to high-value construction and real estate disputes, and structured mentorship. We believe combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility supports fast skill development, active case strategy, and proper work-life balance. We place a high premium on work-life planning, open communication, and personal boundaries while remaining dedicated to meeting trial, hearing, and client demands when necessary.
Work directly alongside partners, paralegals, and clients on complex civil litigation and transactional matters.
Participate across all stages of litigation: case intake and evaluation, strategy design, written discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, trial prep, and final resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, court orders, settlement agreements, liens, bond documents, deeds, and client correspondence.
Conduct precise legal research and prepare actionable, written recommendations.
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, expert consultants, and court personnel.
Manage competing court deadlines, maintain structured case files, and take full ownership of assigned files.
JD from an accredited law school; actively licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
3–6 years of dedicated civil litigation experience.
Strong legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Demonstrated track record drafting litigation documents and managing court deadlines under pressure.
Excellent judgment, proactive initiative, high organization, and a team-first mindset.
Direct exposure to construction law, real estate disputes, commercial litigation, lien/bond claims, or business contracts.
Courtroom experience including pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediations, or arbitrations.
Transactional drafting skills involving deeds, real estate contracts, construction agreements, or corporate documents.
Experience delivering practical, business-minded legal counsel directly to business owners and individuals.

$145,000–$195,000 base salary, plus eligibility for performance bonuses.
