Senior Investment Funds & Advisers Associate (5–8 Years): San Francisco, CA

A respected San Francisco business law firm is looking to add an attorney with substantive private fund experience to its top-rated, nationally prominent investment funds practice. This is a genuine partnership-track role. Senior associates take the lead on high-stakes matters and get active support in building a book of business on the path to equity partnership.

What they're looking for:

• Approximately 5–8 years of private investment fund experience
• Experience forming private funds (hedge, venture, PE, credit, or other strategies)
• Working knowledge of the key regulatory regimes investment advisers must comply with
• J.D. from a Top 50 law school; law school transcripts required
• Superior drafting and client-service skills
• California bar admission, or eligibility to obtain it

Logistics:

• Base salary: $310,000–$360,000, depending on experience
• Partnership track toward equity
• A practice serving hundreds of private funds and investment advisers
