A well-established and highly respected Calgary law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 4–6 years of experience to join its growing Corporate/Commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to build a sophisticated corporate practice while working alongside experienced practitioners on complex and high-value transactions. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including financial institutions, private businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs.

What You'll Do

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Assist with financing transactions, secured lending, and financial services matters.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and corporate restructurings.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients across a variety of industries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of corporate solicitor experience.
• Experience in corporate/commercial law, with exposure to financial services or banking matters preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
• Active membership, or eligibility for membership, with the Law Society of Alberta.
