What You’ll Do

As Medical Director, you’ll provide clinical leadership while working closely with the Hospital Administrator and veterinary team to ensure the hospital continues to deliver exceptional patient and client care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Provide high-quality companion animal medicine, including internal medicine and general surgery
• Develop treatment plans and maintain high clinical standards
• Mentor, coach, and develop associate veterinarians and the broader medical team
• Lead by example and promote a collaborative, respectful hospital culture
• Build strong relationships with clients and help the team deliver an exceptional client experience
• Work with the Hospital Administrator to support hospital operations, productivity, and team development
• Encourage continuing education and stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
• Participate in company-sponsored events and initiatives
• Help create a workplace where veterinarians and support staff feel valued, supported, and empowered

The Leader We’re Looking For

You may be a great fit if you are:

• A DVM or equivalent graduate of an accredited veterinary program
• Actively licensed and in good standing in the applicable state
• Experienced in companion animal general practice, with strong surgical skills preferred
• A veterinarian with 2–5+ years of clinical experience
• Experienced in leadership, mentoring, or developing other veterinarians—or ready to take that next step
• Passionate about practicing high-quality, compassionate medicine
• A strong communicator who builds trust with both clients and team members
• Organized, energetic, dependable, and team-oriented
• Confident enough to lead while remaining approachable and willing to listen
• Someone who knows how to work hard, have fun, and build a team people want to be part of
