Our client is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join a sophisticated litigation practice. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with strong research and writing skills who is ready to take on increasing responsibility and grow within a complex litigation practice.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex litigation matters
Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, memoranda, discovery responses, and other legal documents
Assist with all stages of litigation from case development through resolution
Work closely with senior attorneys on strategy, case preparation, and client matters
Take on increasing responsibility as experience and expertise develop
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties
Manage multiple assignments while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines
Qualifications
2–6 years of legal experience
Strong legal research and writing skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop well-supported arguments
Desire and ability to take on increasing responsibility
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Must be licensed in New Jersey
New York licensure is a plus
Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
