TRANSPORTATION SALES EXECUTIVE/ SPECIALIZED FREIGHT

 Warrenton, VA | Hybrid | $110,000–$120,000+ Base Salary DOE and aggressive commissions

A well-established transportation company is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join its growing team in Warrenton, VA.

This is an opportunity for a proven transportation salesperson who has existing customer relationships and a transferable book of business. We are looking for someone who already knows the industry, understands how to develop and retain shipper relationships, and can bring established business to the table.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success selling transportation and logistics services
• Existing customer relationships and a transferable book of business required
• Strong network of shippers, manufacturers, industrial companies, or other transportation customers
• Experience selling specialized transportation is highly preferred
• Knowledge of flatbed, heavy haul, hot shot, oversize/overweight, specialized freight, or similar transportation services is a strong plus
• Ability to identify opportunities, develop relationships, negotiate rates, and close business
• Strong understanding of transportation pricing, capacity, service requirements, and customer expectations
• Entrepreneurial sales mentality with the ability to manage and grow a book of business
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

What You'll Do

• Develop new business through existing relationships and industry contacts
• Grow and manage an established customer base
• Identify opportunities for additional lanes, services, and transportation solutions
• Build long-term relationships with shippers and decision-makers
• Develop proposals, negotiate pricing, and close new business
• Partner with operations to ensure customers receive excellent service
• Monitor customer needs, market conditions, and opportunities for growth
• Represent the company professionally with customers and prospects
• Continue expanding your network and building revenue

Compensation & Work Environment

• Base salary: $110,000–$120,000 plus aggressive sales commissions
• Higher base may be available depending on the size and quality of your transferable book of business
• Hybrid position based in Warrenton, VA
• Expected to report to the office several days per week, with flexibility to be in the field meeting with customers and prospects
• Compensation package designed for an experienced transportation sales professional
