Position: Civil Litigation Associate Attorney

Location: Remote (Must reside in Idaho)

We are partnering with a premier defense litigation law firm expanding our regional presence and seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing team. Position Overview

This is a fully remote position available to candidates based anywhere in Idaho, collaborating directly with our broader regional practice group.

We are looking for an attorney with at least 2+ years of civil litigation defense experience in Idaho who thrives on autonomy, possesses strong analytical capabilities, and is ready to take ownership of case files while contributing to client development and firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a diverse portfolio of civil litigation defense case files from inception through resolution.

  • Perform legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and court personnel.

  • Travel as required for depositions, court appearances, site inspections, and trials.

  • Participate in trial proceedings, mediations, and hearings.

  • Engage in marketing and business development activities to foster client relationships.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in the State of Idaho (Required).

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience defending civil litigation cases in Idaho.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage case files independently with a strong work ethic.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, analytical, and research skills.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed (Required).

  • Prior trial experience (Preferred).

  • Interest in client development and firm growth.
