Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic Associate Attorney to join our growing estate planning practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for entry-level attorneys looking to build a career in estate planning, as well as mid-level attorneys seeking a collaborative environment with clear paths for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.

  • Assist clients with trust administration, probate matters, and asset protection strategies.

  • Conduct legal research regarding state and federal tax implications, estate laws, and Medicaid planning.

  • Conduct client consultations with empathy, professionalism, and a client-first mindset.

  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management and document preparation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Idaho (or pending bar admission).

  • No prior estate planning experience required; entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.

  • An LL.M. in Taxation or prior experience in Medicaid planning/elder law is strongly preferred.

  • Positive attitude, growth mindset, and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written communication, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Salary: $100,000+ per year (DOE).
