Are you a detail-oriented Estimator who enjoys analyzing plans, solving problems, and helping bring construction projects from concept to reality? We’re looking for an Estimator with a strong understanding of construction costs, materials, labor, and field operations. Experience in heavy civil, geotechnical, or deep foundation construction is especially valuable, but the right construction estimating background and technical mindset can make a difference.

What You’ll Do

  • Review construction plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete and accurate project estimates.
  • Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and evaluate project requirements.
  • Calculate costs for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project expenses.
  • Analyze project scope, construction methods, and potential cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with operations and project management teams throughout the bidding process.
  • Help identify project risks, clarify scope requirements, and support sound estimating decisions.
  • Prepare organized bid documentation and ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and complete.
  • Apply your knowledge of construction means and methods to develop realistic project pricing.

What We’re Looking For

  • Construction estimating experience, preferably in geotechnical, deep foundation, or heavy civil construction.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Experience performing quantity takeoffs and developing detailed cost estimates.
  • Understanding of construction means and methods, labor requirements, equipment, materials, and project costs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations and project management teams.
