Warehouse Manager — Food Manufacturing
Darke County, OH | On-site | $70,000–$80,000 + Benefits

An established food manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping across multiple shifts. This role offers the opportunity to develop a strong team, improve warehouse performance, and keep daily operations running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Supervisors, Team Leads, and warehouse employees.
  • Oversee inbound receiving, product storage, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipping.
  • Coordinate staffing, schedules, and workflow across shifts to meet production and shipping needs.
  • Maintain workplace safety, food safety, and company operating standards.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and employee retention.
  • Monitor productivity, control overtime, and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs.
  • Oversee forklift maintenance and related spending.
  • Partner with Production, Transportation, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve issues and keep operations on track.

What You Bring

  • Previous warehouse management or leadership experience, including oversight of multiple shifts.
  • Strong knowledge of receiving, shipping, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience developing employees and holding teams accountable.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • A hands-on approach to leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Food manufacturing, manufacturing, or distribution experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000–$80,000 annual salary, based on experience.
  • Full benefits package.
