Big-Firm Caliber Commercial Litigation in Portland, Without the Big-Firm Mandates

We have teamed up with a well-established, highly regarded law firm that is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience for its Portland, Oregon office. The practice handles complex business and commercial disputes for public and private companies, closely held businesses, and entrepreneurs.

This is a hybrid role, and you will work directly with a variety of partners on meaningful matters from day one.

What You'll Do

• Handle commercial and business litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs in state and federal court
• Take and defend depositions and argue motions and hearings
• Work closely with partners on case strategy for public and private companies
• Build relationships with clients, including business owners and entrepreneurs

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the Oregon State Bar in good standing
• 3 to 5 years of commercial or business litigation experience
• Ability to manage cases from inception to conclusion
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Strong academic background; big-firm experience preferred
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Portland area
