Can you find the cause of an equipment failure and make the repair? Put your troubleshooting and welding skills to work with a growing food manufacturer.
gpac is partnering with a confidential food manufacturer seeking three Maintenance Technicians to join its expanding team. This hands-on role offers varied equipment, a predictable schedule published in advance, and opportunities to grow your technical skills.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures on production equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs and controls; programming is not required.
Perform welding repairs as needed.
Maintain hydraulic systems, automated machinery, and packaging equipment.
Respond to breakdowns and safely restore production.
Complete preventive and corrective maintenance to improve equipment reliability.
Follow food safety, GMP, lockout/tagout, and plant safety procedures.
What You Bring
2+ years of food manufacturing maintenance experience OR 5+ years of other manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
PLC troubleshooting experience.
Welding skills required.
Experience with hydraulics and automated production equipment.
The ability to identify root causes and make effective repairs.
Availability to work 5:00 PM–5:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Experience with boilers, HVAC, CIP systems, wastewater, spiral freezers, flow wrappers or packaging equipment is a plus.
