Construction QA/QC Professional — Mission Critical

Location: East Texas — On-site

Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 annually, depending on experience

About the Opportunity

An established general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction QA/QC Professional to support mission-critical construction in East Texas.

This role focuses on ensuring that field installations meet project specifications, approved construction documents, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate brings direct mission-critical construction experience and a practical approach to inspections, documentation, deficiency resolution, and coordination with project teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain project quality assurance and quality control procedures.

  • Review drawings, specifications, approved submittals, and installation requirements.

  • Conduct field inspections and document compliance with project standards.

  • Coordinate inspection and testing activities with subcontractors, field leadership, and third-party agencies.

  • Identify nonconforming work, maintain deficiency logs, and verify corrective actions.

  • Participate in preinstallation meetings to clarify quality expectations before work begins.

  • Maintain inspection records, test reports, photographs, and supporting quality documentation.

  • Coordinate quality requirements across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes.

  • Support commissioning readiness, punch-list completion, and turnover documentation.

  • Communicate quality issues early and help project teams prevent recurring deficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated QA/QC experience on mission-critical construction projects.

  • Data center construction experience is highly valued.

  • Ability to interpret construction documents and evaluate field installations.

  • Experience managing inspections, testing records, nonconformance reports, and corrective actions.

  • Working knowledge of construction sequencing and coordination across building systems.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with digital construction documentation and quality management tools.

  • Ability to work on-site in East Texas.
