Project Manager — Commercial Construction
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Compensation: $95,000–$125,000 annually, depending on experience
About the Opportunity
An established general contractor is seeking a mid-level Project Manager to manage commercial construction projects in the Oklahoma City market.
The ideal candidate has progressed beyond an assistant project management role and can take ownership of budgets, schedules, subcontractor coordination, and client communication while working closely with field leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from preconstruction handoff through completion and closeout.
Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and cost forecasts.
Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes.
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, billing, and project documentation.
Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and design teams.
Monitor project progress and address risks affecting schedule or profitability.
Lead coordination meetings and communicate updates to clients.
Support quality control, safety expectations, and timely turnover.
Qualifications
Commercial construction project management experience with a general contractor.
Ability to independently manage core project management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor scopes, and cost control.
Experience managing contracts, change orders, and financial reporting.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Excel.
