Civil Litigation Attorney: Growth, Strong Bonuses, and Real Case Ownership in Sacramento

Our client, a well-established law firm in Sacramento, California, is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of recent civil litigation experience. Mid-level attorneys who want broader responsibility and a clear path for growth are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is an in-office role in downtown Sacramento. The firm handles a broad range of civil matters—including business and commercial litigation, general liability, professional liability, employment, insurance defense, and construction—and wants someone ready to manage a substantial caseload.

What You'll Do

• Provide independent case support and manage a substantial caseload
• Draft complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
• Assess, draft, and argue dispositive and discovery motions
• Take and defend depositions and prepare for mediations and trials
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare polished memoranda

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of recent civil litigation experience
• Experience across general civil, commercial, liability, or related practice areas
• Strong drafting, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload in an in-office environment
