Job Description

A national livestock company is hiring a Feed Mill Manager following a recent promotion. The mill produces mostly cattle feed. You'll own day-to-day production, drive output higher, build and lead the team, and run capital improvement projects. This company has a strong track record of promoting hard workers into bigger roles as they open up.

What You'll Do

• Maximize production and drive continuous improvement
• Hire, train, and lead a team of about 20 employees, and hold them accountable
• Help grow the operation into a continuous-run facility
• Oversee safety, OSHA, and HACCP compliance
• Manage budgets and the P&L
• Host international visitors and major customer tours
• Stay hands-on out on the floor to make sure the work gets done right

Background Requirements

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience (livestock feed or nutrition preferred; other Ag operations such as grain will be considered)
• LEAN, OSHA, HACCP, and safety experience preferred
• A strong communicator who can motivate and lead people at every level
• A track record of growing teams and improving processes

Compensation and Benefits

• $100,000 to $130,000 base salary plus bonus potential
