Project Manager

Our client is a manufacturer of specialized heavy construction and foundation equipment, delivering engineered solutions to government, military, and commercial customers throughout North America.

They are seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Houston, TX, working with contractors to identify equipment solutions for specialized foundation and construction applications. The role involves reviewing project specifications, soil reports, and jobsite requirements to determine the appropriate equipment configuration and supporting attachments. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service, and Product Management, the Project Manager will coordinate equipment orders and rentals, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure solutions meet customer requirements and project specifications.

The position requires travel to customer locations, project sites, and manufacturing facilities as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy equipment, industrial machinery, manufacturing, geotechnical construction, marine construction, heavy civil construction, or related industries.
  • Experience supporting government, military, or defense-related programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or a related technical field preferred.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience with heavy equipment - foundation drilling, geotechnical, marine, or other engineered capital equipment.
  • Understanding of hydraulic systems, fabrication, manufacturing processes, and engineered products is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
