Labor & Employment Attorney: Defend Employers with Hybrid Flexibility in Sacramento

Our client, a top-tier employment practice with a growing Sacramento office, is seeking a Labor & Employment Attorney with 3+ years of experience. The team defends employers in single-plaintiff, class, and PAGA actions and counsels them on California workplace compliance.

This is a hybrid role based in downtown Sacramento, offering a balance of in-office collaboration and remote work.

What You'll Do

• Defend employers in discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour matters
• Handle class and PAGA actions in state and federal court
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
• Take and defend depositions and appear at hearings and mediations
• Advise employers on policies, handbooks, leave, and compliance issues

What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing
• 3+ years of labor and employment litigation experience, preferably on the defense side
• Wage-and-hour and PAGA experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage matters independently and as part of a team
