A well-established community bank in the Storm Lake area is seeking an experienced Ag Lender to build and manage a portfolio of agricultural relationships. This role covers new business development, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing operating, equipment, livestock, and real estate loans for farm and agribusiness customers in Buena Vista County and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new ag relationships and grow existing ones through farm visits and community involvement
• Analyze financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow projections, and collateral
• Structure and present ag loan requests and prepare credit memos
• Monitor the portfolio through annual reviews, inspections, and borrowing base checks
• Cross-sell deposit and other bank products to ag customers
• Work with FSA guarantee programs as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of agricultural lending or ag credit experience
• Ag background or a solid understanding of crop and livestock operations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with producers
• Organized and able to manage multiple requests at once
