A well-regarded insurance defense law firm in Fairfax is looking for an attorney to join its litigation team. This is a chance to build your career defending insured clients in a supportive, collaborative setting. The hybrid schedule and an attractive bonus structure make it stand out.

What you'll do

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from intake through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and other written work
• Take and defend depositions, and attend hearings and mediations
• Report case developments and strategy to insurance carriers and clients
• Work closely with partners and support staff on case strategy

What you bring

• At least 1 year of insurance defense or civil litigation experience
• Active Virginia bar admission required, with DC and Maryland admission a plus
• Strong writing, research and case management skills

Compensation and schedule/benefits

• Competitive base salary, depending on experience
• A competitive bonus structure paid out monthly, quarterly and yearly
• Hybrid work arrangement based in Fairfax, VA
