gpac is partnered with a community bank that believes in local relationships and local decisions. They're hiring an experienced Agricultural Lender to serve and grow their farm and agribusiness portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a portfolio of agricultural loans, including operating lines, equipment, livestock, and farm real estate
- Develop new relationships with farmers, producers, and agribusinesses through referrals, farm visits, and community involvement
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and balance sheets to structure and underwrite credit
- Present loan requests to credit committee
- Monitor portfolio quality, including renewals, collateral inspections, and covenant compliance
- Stay current on commodity markets, crop insurance, and FSA guaranteed loan programs
- Partner with branch and deposit teams to deepen customer relationships
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of agricultural lending or ag credit analysis experience
- Strong understanding of farm operations and agricultural economics
- Experience with FSA programs is a plus
- Established network in the local farming community preferred
- Bachelor's degree in agricultural business, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication skills and a relationship-focused approach

Salary Range: $80,000 - $135,000 per year
