State & Local Tax Compliance Specialist | Columbus, OH
A compliance-focused role for a detail-oriented tax professional. A well-respected regional CPA and advisory firm is hiring a State & Local Tax Compliance Specialist in the Columbus area. You'll join a respected team serving a wide range of clients, with the support and visibility to keep building your career.
What you'll do:
- Prepare multistate income/franchise and gross receipts tax returns, business licenses and annual reports
- Handle sales/use and employment tax registrations
- Manage a monthly compliance calendar and jurisdiction notices
- Conduct tax research as needed
What you bring:
- Two-year accounting degree or 3+ years as a bookkeeper/accountant
- Pass-through or corporate return experience preferred
- Strong Excel and organizational skills

Pay: $60K - $78K + bonus potential
