Tax Manager
Location: Michigan - Troy
Overview
a respected, growing regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking a Tax Manager to manage tax compliance and planning for a portfolio of business and individual clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and review tax returns for C corporations, partnerships, S corporations and individuals
- Deliver proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through year-round advisory support
- Research complex tax issues and communicate practical solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve client tax positions and expand the services provided
- Lead and mentor associates, supporting their professional growth
- Collaborate with firm leaders on practice development and client growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry
- CPA license required; MST a plus
- Experience reviewing complex business and individual tax returns
- Outstanding client service and communication skills
- Desire to develop business solutions in a team-based environment
- Passion for coaching others and recognizing great work
- Commitment to continuous learning and unwavering integrity
