A commercial general contractor in the Chicago area is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead warehouse, light industrial, and manufacturing projects. Ideal candidates bring a proven record managing larger jobs, mentoring teams, and earning the trust of owners.

What You'll Do

• Oversee multiple large industrial projects, or a portfolio of them, from preconstruction to closeout
• Set the strategy for budgets, schedules, and risk, and make sure the team hits its targets
• Build and keep strong relationships with owners, developers, and design teams
• Mentor and guide Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and engineers
• Lead contract negotiations, buyout, and major change order discussions
• Help win repeat work through great delivery and client trust

What You Bring

• Extensive project management experience with a general contractor, including time at a senior level
• A strong portfolio of warehouse, light industrial, or manufacturing projects
• Proven skill managing large budgets and complex schedules
• A natural leader who enjoys developing people
• Polished, confident communication with clients and executives
