Job Description

Win big structural work for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. This permanent full-time Business Development Manager position comes with $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.

What you'll do

• Lead pursuit strategy on structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Travel the Midwest to meet clients and move opportunities forward
• Grow steel erection work with owners and general contractors across Midwest markets
• Stay current on bid timing, competitors, and project pipelines
• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector in client meetings and industry forums

What you bring

• Business development or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• History of winning large-tonnage Midwest projects
• Preferred: existing ties to general contractors, fabricators, or owners
• Ready to travel throughout the Midwest
• Strong communicator with a consistent closing record
