An AISC-certified Michigan steel erector is searching for a permanent full-time Business Development Manager to grow its work on large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. The role pays $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and includes Midwest travel.

Your responsibilities

• Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and throughout the industry
• Track competitors, bid schedules, and Midwest project pipelines
• Build new steel erection business with general contractors and owners across the Midwest
• Run pursuits on major structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Travel the Midwest to strengthen relationships and secure awards

Your experience

• BD or sales background in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Experience pursuing large Midwest tonnage projects
• Contacts with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Willing to travel the Midwest
• Persuasive communicator with a proven closing record
