Job Description

A long-established mid-sized Houston litigation firm is looking to hire a commercial litigation attorney immediately. You'll run a commercial litigation docket, with opportunity to go to trial in both federal and state courts. No portable business is required.

Responsibilities

• full cycle litigation experience
• trial experience in Texas state and federal courts
• draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• take and defend depositions
• argue motions
• represent business and banking clients, including creditor-side matters (a plus)

Requirements

• ~5-10 years of commercial litigation experience
• Texas bar
• banking or bankruptcy (especially creditor-side) is a plus

Full-time in the Houston office, immediate hire, with benefits package
