Job Description

This is an immediate-hire Safety Director opening with a structural steel fabrication company that operates three local shops. Reporting directly to leadership, you'll set the direction for safety at all three locations and have the authority to make it stick.

What you'll do

• Train shop leaders and crews on safe fabrication methods
• Lead the safety program across all 3 fabrication shops and keep improving it
• Handle OSHA compliance, inspections, audits and incident investigations
• Find hazards early and drive corrective actions to completion
• Track key safety metrics and report them to leadership

What we're looking for

• Background leading safety in structural steel fabrication or another industrial/manufacturing environment
• Steel erection safety experience will also be considered
• Ability to manage safety across multiple local sites
• Working command of OSHA standards

Compensation & benefits

• $100K–$120K base salary
• Bonus based on company performance
